• Our hair detox shampoo and treatment systems consist of multiple steps with each step in it's specific position for a reason.  Steps 1 and 2 cleanse the scalp and external parts of the hair strand and begin to penetrate the cuticle.  Step 3 lifts and opens the cuticle allowing it's ingredients to enter the shaft and begin to initiate chemical reactions within the cortex  The molecular structure of some of the metabolites are changed into other analytes that are not detectable.  Step 3 also attacks the melanin-metabolite bonds, breaking them and stripping them away.  Additionally, it works to reduce, oxidize and degrade metabolites.  Now that the cuticle is lifted, subsequent rounds of Steps 1 and 2 can bypass the cuticle into the cortex and cleanse the interior of the shaft.  At least 4 rounds of Steps 1,2 and 3 are recommended for the chemicals in these steps to complete their purpose.  There's an optional UV light to be used with Step 3 that emits a specific wavelength proven to maximize the efficiency of the chemical reactions, exponentially increasing the rate at which the metabolites are degraded.

• Step 4 is the optional optimized bleach and developer kit.  It is not necessary for all substances or substance usage patterns.  We now have replacement products to use in place of the bleach step but if you need to detox in a short time, the bleach step is still the best option.  We have had plenty of people pass in certain situations without it.  It is highly recommended for THC use since THC is the hardest substance to remove from the hair, especially in a short time.  A regular bleaching process removes about 15%-40% of metabolites depending on the drug and the starting levels.  Our optimized bleach and developer kit contains added ingredients, adjusted pH and maximum chemical concentration in order to remove the greatest number of metabolites possible from a bleach process.  It is 2 to 3 times more effective than a regular bleach process.   Step 5, the re dye step, restores your hair color and further removes metabolites.  Then the next treatment, Step 6, again opens the cuticle and and rearranges the keratin in the cortex, detaching the metabolites from their keratin-metabolite bonds and leeching them out from the hair.  Step 7 loosens any metabolites that are hanging on and locks the keratin in its new position while cleansing away any remaining residual metabolites.  Finally, it seals the cuticle back up.

The entire system is a PERMANENT CLEANSE, NOT A MASK.  It takes a minimum of ONLY 3 HOURS to complete and your hair will be permanently cleansed of all toxins, assuming you do not use again.  It is recommended to complete the system over at least 3 days, or more, in order to least affect your hair health; however, the system can be used in one setting in emergency situations and we have had countless customers successfully use it immediately before a test and pass.
